- Courage! This is a blend of oils that is known for its calming properties. The principle oil in the blend, Jasmine (Jasminum grandiflorum) is a very sweet and lingering essential oil. Energetically, Jasmine grandiflorum has a rich, heady floral scent. Just a drop or two is enough to bring an aura of sensuality to a blend. Paradoxically strong yet serene, jasmine can settle and open the heart to self-love, compassion for others, and new experiences. Working on the olfactory membrane in your sinus cavity, this oils sends feelings of courage, transforming stress and self doubt. Since ancient times, Jasmine has been referred to as the King of oils (Rose is the Queen). Apparently this is because Jasmine is the most masculine of all the floral oils. It is also interesting to note that it takes 8,000 carefully hand-picked blossoms to produce 1 gram (about 1 ml.) of Jasmine Absolute. I have used Golden Jojoba as the carrier oil in this blend.
- How to use: Humans, rub on wrists, behind ears and put a drop under your nose so you can inhale the aroma. Horses, rub on nostrils and gums as often as needed.
- HOW TO GET THE MOST OUT OF YOUR COURAGE! Courage is one of those oils that works energetically. You want your horse to become familiar with the aroma. I would suggest using it at home when you ride. I put 2-3 drops on each nostril flare and rub in....then, squirt 1/2 to 1 dropper full in mouth. The horse will become familiar with the aroma in the calm situation of being at home. This way it will work faster at the race because the horse is already familiar with the aroma. This blend can be used with Equine Liquid Xanax.
