Race Brace is a blend of essential oils that are known for their ability to increase blood flow, increase circulation and destroy free radicals! Some of the oils in the blend:

Thyme ct. Thymol- Anti-inflammatory: Antioxidant activity is at the root of anti-inflammatory action, and Thyme oil is one of the most potent antioxidants among essential oils. Thymol inhibits prostaglandin synthesis. It has anti-inflammatory action, it is a COX-1 inhibitor, and can reduce swelling (Adorjan and Buchbauer 2010).

Antibacterial: The antimicrobial activity in Thyme oils is associated with the thymol and carvacrol chemotypes (Rota et al. 2008). Thymol (and other phenolic components) is very active against a broad spectrum of microorganisms, possibly due to its phenol ring structure.

Lavendula latifolia: Analgesic: 1,8 cineole has antinociceptive activity. Santos and Rao (2000) reported that 1,8 cineole was also a potent anti-inflammatory agent and an excellent peripheral analgesic. Guimarães suggested that 1,8 cineole has an anesthetic property by acting directly on sensory nerves. Sometimes a cooling sensation is observed.

Anti-inflammatory: 1,8 cineole has very good anti-inflammatory action (Santos and Rao 2000).

Antibacterial: At least two of Spike Lavender’s significant components, 1,8 cineole, and camphor, are important in antimicrobial activity (Lang and Buchbauer 2012).

Organic Menthol has been added for cooling/anti-inflammatory effect!

This oils is great for nicks and cuts on legs to help prevent bacterial infections and cellulitis.
