This blend is just full of organic essential oils that are known for their would healing properties. There are a total of 7 different oils: Clove, Eucalyptus, Frankincense, Lavender, Tea Tree just to name a few.
Lavender
(Lavendula angustifolia) is an essential oil that is rich in the
chemical component linalool which is possibly the most studied
monoterpenol and has multiple and diverse sites of action. It is an
analgesic, anti inflammatory and antibacterial. Edward-Jones et al.
(2004) found that a combination of Lavender, Geranium and Tea Tree had
an increased inhibitory effect on the growth of methicillin-resistant
Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA).
Frankincense (Boswellia carterii), which is a resin (and resin is what heals the wound of the tree) is a cicatrisant (skin healing) This essenntial oil contains several componants that demonstrate actions important to the skins healing process. The main checmical component in Frankincense is a-pinene, which is analgesic, antibacterial, antifungal (candida) anti-inflammatory.
This blend will promote healing while killing bacteria and adding moisture to prevent dry cracking.
